What belongs in your profile
Profile includes Professional type, Years of experience and State license ID, along with your business details and areas of expertise. Enter accurate information that you can substantiate.
Choosing a professional type or filling in a license field records a claim about your practice. It should not be presented as evidence that the platform has approved that claim.
Where to check badge status
Open Settings → General → Badges. The badge categories shown are Verified, Rising Talent, Top Rated and Top Rated Plus.
Read the status of a badge, not just its name. A locked badge is not an earned badge. A profile that lists a professional type is not a substitute for a displayed verification result.
Keep your introduction accurate
Describe the credentials you actually hold and the services you provide. Avoid language implying an Uncle Kam verification or badge that your account does not display as earned.
Profile entry: a professional selects their applicable professional type.
Platform status: the account separately displays whether a particular badge is earned or locked.
Common questions
Does entering a license ID mean my application is approved?
No. Entering a license ID is a profile action, not an application approval result.
Can I use a badge name just because it appears on the Badges tab?
Only describe the status your account actually shows. A category name or locked badge does not mean you have earned it.
