1. Choose the right support route
For a marketplace account, Opportunity Credits or transaction question, email support@unclekam.com, the general support contact listed on Uncle Kam’s official contact page. Identify yourself as a tax professional and name the product and issue so the team can route the request.
The marketplace Help & Support link returned to Dashboard when checked. If that happens to you, use the official contact route above. For a learning issue, use the academy’s Help & Support form instead; the course-access guide below explains its categories and fields.
| Issue | Where to begin |
|---|---|
| Opportunity Credits, a transaction or marketplace account | General Uncle Kam support email; include the marketplace context and relevant record ID. |
| Opportunity quality or a review request | Use the same general support contact and request review of the specific opportunity. Describe the facts and requested outcome. |
| Course access or a certificate | Academy → Help & Support. Select the category that matches the learning issue. |
2. Gather the record before writing
- Product and account: say whether this happened in the marketplace, Tax Plan, Tax Analyzer or academy. Use your account email when contacting the support team.
- Record: include the opportunity, transaction, plan or course identifier relevant to the issue.
- Time: give the date, approximate time and time zone.
- Action and result: name the control you used, what you expected and the exact message or status you received.
- Amounts: for a billing question, separate the displayed price, fee, total and transaction amount.
- Requested help: ask for a transaction explanation, access investigation or review of a specific concern.
For a credit balance concern, compare the relevant ledger entry with the event you are asking about. A balance by itself does not identify a particular charge. For an access problem, include the affected page and the message you see; never send a password or sign-in code.
3. Make an opportunity review request specific
Describe the concern using the record rather than a general statement such as “this lead is bad.” State which detail appears incorrect, when you attempted contact and what happened. Separate information visible before securing from information you learned afterward.
Subject: Marketplace review request — opportunity UK-EXAMPLE
Summary: I would like a review of the service-request information for this opportunity.
What I observed: The offer listed bookkeeping. During our conversation, the client described a different service need.
When: October 14, 2026, approximately 2 p.m. Pacific.
Requested help: Please explain the review process and what information you need.
In Opportunities → Secured, Invalid / Disputed appears among the status filters. Choosing that filter changes the list you see; it is not proof that a dispute was submitted. A review request also does not establish eligibility for a refund or credit.
4. Share only the evidence needed
A useful screenshot shows the relevant control, status or transaction row at a readable size. Crop away unrelated records, client contact details and account information that the issue does not require. Read the image again before attaching it.
Do not include passwords, one-time codes, full card details, government identifiers or complete tax returns in a general support message. If the team needs sensitive records, ask which secure channel to use and what specific information is required. For a technical issue, include your browser and device and whether the problem repeats.
5. Keep the request and follow the response
Keep a copy of the message, the relevant record IDs and any acknowledgement or case reference you receive. When following up, reply in the same conversation and describe what changed rather than starting several disconnected requests.
Submit an opportunity-quality review within 30 days of securing it. This reporting window does not promise approval or a resolution time, and it does not replace card-provider or legal deadlines. For an unclear payment result, ask for confirmation of the original event before trying the paid action again.
Common questions
Where do I go if Help & Support sends me to Dashboard?
Use support@unclekam.com, the general contact listed on Uncle Kam’s official contact page. State that the issue concerns the tax-professional marketplace and include the relevant record ID.
Does Invalid / Disputed submit my dispute?
No. It is an option in the Secured list’s status filter. Filtering records is different from sending a review request or receiving an acknowledgement.
Does sending a request guarantee a credit or refund?
No. Ask support to explain the review process and applicable terms for your event. A request is not an approval or a posted credit.
What should I include for a billing concern?
The product, account email, transaction or opportunity ID, date and time zone, displayed amount, actual transaction entry and exact issue. Do not include full payment-card details.
Should I use the academy form for a marketplace dispute?
Use the general Uncle Kam support contact for the marketplace issue. The academy form is documented here for learning access and certificate questions.
How do I follow up?
Reply in the same conversation, include any case reference and state what is still unresolved. Ask for the next step and applicable timing without assuming a response or resolution guarantee.
